What's the catch? Is it really free?
Yes, really! You keep the equipment as long as you process with us. Should you ever terminate your relationship with us, you have 10 days to return the equipment. There is no sign up fee, no annual fee, no purchase or rental or lease.
What credit cards will I be able to accept?
Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express.
Can I process debit cards and check cards?
Yes. The free Hypercom T4220 terminal comes with either an internal or external pin pad that allows customers to enter their PIN number. You'll be able to accept any PIN-based debit card, checkcard, or EBT card.
Note: the RoamPay device used with a cell phone is not capable of processing PIN entry debit trasactions.
How soon can I have the machine?
You can receive the terminal fully programmed and ready to plug and play within 2 to 3 business days.
What if the equipment malfunctions?
You have two choices:
- Subscribe to our Merchant Advantage Program for $9.95 monthly and we'll overnight you a replacement terminal at no cost as often as you need.
- Pay only $99 per incident to have a replacement terminal shipped next day delivery.
Note: the RoamPay device used with a cell phone does not have a replcement or service plan attached. However, it iseasy and affordable to replace ($19.95 each)
